FemTech Hackathon 2025

Uniting 100 Innovators to Redesign the World for Women

On November 28th 2025 we hosted Europe’s largest FemTech Hackathon to date. With 100 enthusiastic entrepreneurs, designers, developers and business professionals we tackled women’s challenges in Sports, Finance, Health and Retail.

The outcome? 16 bright innovative ideas, 4 winners, and new FemTech start-ups to follow.

Fem Futures FemTech Hackathon — A Breakthrough for Women-Centered Innovation

On 28 November 2025, the Fem Futures Collective — a collaboration between Clusity, High Her and FutureKind — brought together 95 developers, designers, entrepreneurs and innovators at BeCentral in Brussels for the largest FemTech Hackathon in Belgium. Our mission: to build breakthrough solutions tackling the persistent 1% female bias in R&D, and to show that women-focused innovation is not a niche, but rather an economic and societal necessity.

Four Winning Concepts. One Clear Message: Women’s Innovation Is the Future.

Throughout an intense full-day sprint, more than 100 participants developed scalable solutions across four categories: Health, Sports, Retail and Finance. An independent jury selected four winning teams with strong impact and immediate market potential:

Health — Partner: Partena Professional
Winner: Harmona
A hardware device that measures menstrual pain and delivers immediate, targeted pain relief. A breakthrough for the millions of women who still have to choose between functioning and enduring pain.

Sports — Partner: De Cronos Groep
Winner: Pelviq
A wearable device that uses electrostimulation to strengthen the pelvic floor during exercise — empowering women experiencing stress incontinence to continue sports with confidence.

Retail — Partner: Delhaize Belgium
Winner: AURYN
A smart patch that tracks daily symptoms throughout the cycle and recommends personalised nutrition or supplements, delivered through a monthly subscription. Hyper-personalised wellbeing tailored to each woman’s body.

Finance & Insurance — Partner: Belfius
Winner: FIA
A digital guide that supports women in major financial decisions across life phases. Based on personal financial data and goals, the tool generates clear scenarios and next steps — offering clarity and control.

A Jury United in Praise

Founders, investors and business leaders highlighted the exceptional quality of the ideas and their immediate real-world relevance. From Delhaize to Belfius to Flanders Technology & Innovation, jury members recognised solutions that are needed today, and unavoidable tomorrow.

From Hackathon to Start-Up

The hackathon is not the end — it’s the beginning.
The four winning teams will receive intensive support from the Fem Futures Collective, including coaching, financial guidance and access to a powerful network. Our ambition: to help these concepts grow into real, scalable FemTech start-ups.
